Window & Door Options & Accessories
Single Hung Windows (*Available in PGT & SilverLine)
Single Hung Windows are considered the most common style or the “traditional” style.
These windows function by the bottom sash sliding upward. One sash is fixed (doesn’t move).
Double Hung Windows (*Available in SilverLine)
Double Hung Windows are similar to the Single Hung version, however, they operate
by sliding one sash vertically past another. Both sashes move.
Horizontal Sliding Windows (*Available in PGT & SilverLine)
Horizontal Sliders represent a more contemporary style.
These windows have sashes that move horizontally or side to side.
Oftentimes, this style is used for bedrooms requiring egress (a means to exit the home).
Casement Windows (*Available in PGT & SilverLine)
Casement Windows are typically referred to as the “elegant window.”
Jamb hinges permit these windows to completely open outward, usually allowing for the most ventilation and maximum egress.
Another casement option is the Projected Casement, which opens outward horizontally.
Architectural / Fixed / Picture Windows (*Available in PGT & SilverLine)
Fixed windows are those that do not open.
Oftentimes they are combined with other windows or doors that open (for ex.: half circles over a window)
They come in all shapes and styles (including: circles, squares, ovals, etc.)
French Doors
French Doors are known for their traditional style.
These doors may be either single or double panels, in which one or both panels open.
To accommodate for larger openings, French Doors may also come with Sidelites, or fixed windows on one or both sides.
Sliding Doors
Sliding Glass Doors provide a contemporary look to any home or outdoor patio.
These doors slide from side to side and work for any opening as small as 30” to as wide as 16.’
Pocket Sliding Doors are also available for those wishing to have more space and a clean, modern appearance.
Storefront Windows
Storefront windows are available in both Impact and Non-Impact Resistant.
The “fixed window wall systems” are capable of achieving very high wind load demands.
The way in which they are constructed allows for the use of large glass panels with a minimal amount of mullion use.
Storefront Doors
Numerous options exist for Storefront Doors.
Like the windows, the doors are equipped to withstand high wind load demands.
Options include: Entrance Doors, Panic Equipped Doors, Balcony Swing Doors, Showroom Entrance Doors and Radius Top Doors.
